Isaac Lee Montgomery on Living Boldly and Overcoming Barriers

Isaac Lee Montgomery is living proof that everyone can choose to be whomever they want to be if they work hard enough to achieve their goals, regardless of the many barriers the world offers. Despite having been diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (PDD NOS), which is a type of autism, he has risen above it and shown the world that he is more than able to live an exceptional life filled with color and excitement. Choosing to pursue his destiny boldly, he identifies as a transgender male, or FTM (female to male). 

After having been diagnosed with autism  at four, Isaac Lee Montgomery’s first experience at overcoming what many perceive as a barrier was learning to manage his PDD NOS. He attended speech therapy, which led to his interest in American Sign Language (ASL). As a young child, he became fascinated with his neighbor’s deaf brother and wanted to understand what it was like to be in his shoes. His special interest in deaf culture sparked his current passion and initiative, which involves pitching a cartoon that revolves around a deaf main character. 

His animated show is about a deaf girl who moves into a new town. She comes across an object that transports her to another realm, where she gets to live out her mother’s past with a twist. Isaac also wishes to highlight the project’s music that will put emphasis on character development and world-building. Additionally, he intends to feature ASL and his version of the Artistic Sign Language. In doing this, he hopes to create massive awareness of the beauty of sign language, including Black Sign Language and British Sign Language. 

His main character is a deaf person of color. Depicting these diverse and interesting characters is his way of educating viewers on the different perspectives of people and their personal journey in life. One of the present challenges he is facing is finding the right partners who would be willing to give life to his ideas. But there is no stopping Isaac, who is committed to expressing his special interests and perspective in life. If he gets denied by major mainstream networks, he moves on to the next one.

Currently, he is a third-year Film and Media Arts student at Cleveland State University, where he is honing his acting and directing skills. While his main objective was to prepare for acting, he has been told time and time again that his creative ideas are remarkable. This prompted him to pursue both acting and directing. 

Completing his studies is not without any difficulties as he is also transitioning. To finance his upcoming surgery, on top of working to make a successful story pitch for his animated idea, Isaac had to work three jobs: as a secretary for a testing center, a delivery driver, and a restaurant host. When he gets free time from school and work, he creates cosplay costumes and goes to cosplay conventions with his friends. 

As a promising storyteller in the making, Isaac is bound to do phenomenal things in his lifetime, giving a voice to the voiceless and sharing the stories that people ought to learn about. As he shows the world that everyone can live colorful and exciting lives no matter what their circumstances may be, there is no doubt that he will inspire more people to pursue their dreams and passions confidently.

The supreme driving force and motivator for his group’s fundraising efforts stem primarily from the devastation that cancer has caused in the lives of too many victims and survivors. A recording artist by profession, The Black Bon Jovi founded his own cancer-fighting kickball team called The Cancer Killa. The acquisition will be finalized on July 1, 2021. These two acquisitions combined will likely bring in millions of dollars in revenue for Bergio International.

Bergio’s undeniable success hasn’t come without trying times. Berge created the Yellow Diamond collection and the semi-precious stone collection, which both brought about numerous nay-sayers. As challenging as it was to lack support from the public and others, Berge pushed on– and fortunately he did. One of those collections turned out to be one of his most successful creations. “I took many bold steps that other designers don’t make because they like to follow,” Berge says. “I learned to express myself the way I feel without any fear.”

Nothing is more important to his success than his family. “If you have strong support from your family, you can succeed as long as you have your vision,” explains Berge. “I’m blessed with a good family that always supports what I want to do, my overall vision, and my goals for the future.”

The Story of the Gamestop Short Squeeze

Have you ever wanted to win a massive fortune, perhaps the lottery or some wild inheritance? When many people think of winning massive fortunes it is typically through some crazy twist of fate and luck that things like this happen.  One of the largest events of this crazy luck happened this past year in a very unlikely place: the stock market in the case of the Gamestop short squeeze

This past year has shown us that there is truly power in numbers especially when it comes to fighting injustices.  One of the largest historical case studies has emerged with nothing more than a meme.  In the stock world buying stocks like AMC and Gamestop is a joke, there is literally no profit that those stocks could bring to a portfolio and they were slowly becoming obsolete. 

That was, until they were being used as a flashlight to showcase immoral marketplace activity. There is a practice that is known as shorting that was used throughout financial funds and stockbrokers.  In a very simplified way, shoriting is the act of selling stock that you do not own in hipes to buy it back later at a lower price therefore increasing your margins.  This was so commonly practiced but no one really paid attention to it due to the stigma of inaccessibility that flooded the stock market. 

When people got wind of this situation they were appalled and some key players began to spread the word on social media platforms such as reddit.  These platforms allowed people to remain anonymous and undetected long enough for them to subtly buy back enough of the stock for it to trend and buy all available shares.  This caused a panic for the stock profilers, now all the shares that they sold were either already bought. 

Now they really had a problem.  They couldn’t go back to their profile and tell them they lost money because technically the money was still there.  So they tried to buy it back and take the losses but all of a sudden the stock that they sold at 10 dollars was now valued at 500.  It meant that they were in a very bad situation.  They either had to eat crow and return back to their clients or devise a plan to buy it back.  Yet, there was one big problem: the average man was holding strong. 

Without people willing to sell, the stock price held and people were freaking out.  Suddenly, average people were sitting on fortunes and they had a decision to make: either cash out or hold on for more.  It was a stroke of luck that many had no choice but to cash out because it was life changing money.  But, this was exactly what the stock broker was counting on.  Many held onto their fortune for that reason but the stock market was fickle and that fortune began to dwindle. 

The moral of the story here is to always fight for what is right even, any small difference is a big one in the long run.

Q: Being your own boss and leading a business can be highly challenging. When did you start seeing positive results?

SR: I believe my tipping point, when I started seeing positive results, was when I ventured into eCommerce. It mostly happened when I learned the ability to follow trends because if you cannot follow them and you are only producing new products, you won’t be successful. If something isn’t broken, don’t fix it. Once I realized I could do that successfully, I knew I was going to continue this business.

SR: I would advise starting entrepreneurs to learn how to follow trends and constantly try something different to avoid burnout. Don’t let your work become repetitive because you have to be able to adapt. If something isn’t working, let it go and move on to the next project. You can always come back to it once you have acquired a new perspective or an innovative idea. Being so focused on the one thing when you could be doing something else will burn you out.

 

Q: What is one thing you have been doing that has helped you shape this journey?

SR: I believe the one thing that has helped me throughout my professional career is not giving up. Just constantly staying focused on what you feel inside is the best route for you. Not giving up on any of my failures or getting denied on applications for loans is what has shaped my journey.

Q: Being your own boss and leading a business can be highly challenging. When did you start seeing positive results?

SR: I believe my tipping point, when I started seeing positive results, was when I ventured into eCommerce. It mostly happened when I learned the ability to follow trends because if you cannot follow them and you are only producing new products, you won’t be successful. If something isn’t broken, don’t fix it. Once I realized I could do that successfully, I knew I was going to continue this business.

 

Q: What is one piece of advice you would give new entrepreneurs who are venturing into the eCommerce world?

SR: I would advise starting entrepreneurs to learn how to follow trends and constantly try something different to avoid burnout. Don’t let your work become repetitive because you have to be able to adapt. If something isn’t working, let it go and move on to the next project. You can always come back to it once you have acquired a new perspective or an innovative idea. Being so focused on the one thing when you could be doing something else will burn you out.

 

Q: What is one thing you have been doing that has helped you shape this journey?

SR: I believe the one thing that has helped me throughout my professional career is not giving up. Just constantly staying focused on what you feel inside is the best route for you. Not giving up on any of my failures or getting denied on applications for loans is what has shaped my journey.

 

Steven Ridzyowski is an excellent example of persevering and conquering. Instead of staying with what he had learned in high school, he continued to expand his knowledge in order to perfect his craft. He dived into a world of trends, digital ads, affiliate marketing, and eCommerce and came out on the other side stronger and ready to take on the adventure of a lifetime.
