Best homemaking tips for housewives on a tight budget:

It is the dream of every woman to make her home the best place in the world. Unfortunately, most of the housewives are held back due to lack of resources, tight budget, and not having proper insight into getting homemaking stuff done. Almost every housewife has found the following tips to be effective:

  • Do some fixtures on your own:

In some houses, there is a culture of defining gender-specific roles. So, when there is something that needs to be fixed, they search for a service provider. This often costs them a lot and this is the reason, they often keep deferring the fixing work. It is not always important to take the assistance of the service provider. For instance, if you find the leakage in the ceiling, you can go with ladder hire service and do it on your own

  • Make a schedule:

Most of the women find everything messed up because they don’t have a schedule. They usually keep forgetting tasks to be accomplished and end up not having enough time for doing invaluable things. Value your time and make a cleaning schedule. You don’t have to do the cleaning daily. Just keep every cleaning task on your schedule and perform them one by one

  1. Pay attention to the garden:

If you cannot afford to hire a gardener, you can do the gardening work. Fortunately, it does not need you to have special skills. All you need to do is make time and arrangements for equipment for remodeling or setting up your garden. You don’t need to purchase the equipment at once. For instance, if you need to do some digging for making a flower bed, you can simply click on and get mini digger hire. It is the best tool for housewives and nonprofessional people

  • Make a weekly budget:

Making a budget is very effective in dealing with the low-budget situation. When there is a limited budget, there should be a spending plan for a family so that it can be seen that where they are allowed to spend money and where they cannot. A homemaker is expected to do such things prudently and save up the money

  • Never let any bill go unpaid:

Paying the bill before the due date can be the best trick to save up the money because paying after the due date means you will have to pay extra. So, keep an eye on your bills and make sure that you have settled the credit card payment, mortgage, and other bills paid before the late date.

The bottom line:

When it comes to putting everything together, lots of hopes are pinned on house makers. Being a housewife is not an easy job. There is so much that goes into it including managing finances, prevent things from getting messed up, and much more. The tips given above are useful for many women on a budget

The Advice Leading Digital Marketing Connoisseur Ludovico Apollonio Offers to New Entrepreneurs

Becoming a successful entrepreneur doesn’t exactly happen overnight. But, while it takes a business plan, passion, and effort to make it work, many business owners manage to reach a desirable level of success within a reasonable amount of time. Ludovico Appolonion is one of those people. He’s a self-made entrepreneur taking the digital marketing industry by storm.

The first thing he did was focus on learning all the valuable information needed to know about advertising, building an eCommerce business, working with affiliates, and creating digital marketing strategies. After that, he worked steadily to gain valuable knowledge to succeed in a competitive industry. It was vital for him to gain a competitive edge over others while providing services that clients could appreciate.

Before he began working in digital marketing, Ludovico Apollonio worked in real estate for three years. Then, he decided that he wanted to get into eCommerce and eventually fell in love with running a business and being his boss. He’s always loved the idea of working for himself, so he made it a priority to start a business doing what he loves most. Of course, there were many obstacles for him to overcome and lots of valuable information that he needed to discover before he’d experience success with his business. However, he was willing to put his all into the business to get it to take off.

Despite the many challenges he’s dealt with over the past few years, the positive results he saw from following trends kept him motivated to keep pushing forward. “You have to follow some trends to achieve success. You can’t expect success when you’re only producing new products and not going along with some of the leading trends. When you find something that works for you, stick with it,” said Apollonio. “My advice to other entrepreneurs who’d like to have success in any industry is to pay attention to the trends. Don’t continue doing the same things if they’re not working for you because you’ll experience serious burnout from that. Don’t give up on what you want. Of course, there will be challenges, but you can overcome them and succeed.”

Ludovico Apollonio is proof that you can make a career shift at any point in your life to follow your dreams, do what you love, and successfully work for yourself. While he once worked in real estate for someone else, he’s now running a successful digital marketing business while sharing professional tips and advice with others. “I want to help other entrepreneurs succeed while they’re doing what they love. My greatest tip is to do what feels right and stick with it,” said Apollonio. “I didn’t give up on my dream of running a business that provides digital marketing services. Yes, I made mistakes and received denials along the way, but I kept pushing, and you need to do the same if you want to succeed. Perseverance pays off in the long run.”

His inspirational success story gives hope to current and future entrepreneurs looking forward to building businesses based on their passions.

Beyond Gaming: How Micheal Reynolds, a.k.a. the Fierce Diva, Is Creating a Bright Future for the Industry and His Community

Are video games a waste of time?

When video games gained widespread popularity in the ’80s, parents, educators, politicians, and scholars all around deemed the hours spent playing in a virtual world harmful and unproductive. Unfortunately, this is a reputation that lives on today, 40 years down the road, despite gaming being a thriving industry, generating over $120 billion in revenue, with numbers poised to reach the $200 billion mark within the next two years.

The evolution of gaming also means it now covers a diverse range of subcategories that goes beyond consoles. For example, smartphone games now account for almost 50 percent of the money made in the industry–making gaming more accessible. And while it is common for new platforms to meet a bit of resistance from the public, the numbers behind gaming prove that it is not just a hobby made for consumption. In fact, if Michael Reynolds’ passion for gaming is anything to go by, it’s a serious artistic craft that creates opportunities and fuels the economy.

Reynolds, known as the Fierce Diva online, is one of the first Facebook Gaming Partners and is followed by a legion of individuals that tune in religiously to watch his live streams. During these sessions, he often plays the battle royale-style game Fortnite, proudly representing the  LGBTQ+ and African American community where he aims to use his platform to inspire a wave of change in mentality and acceptance.

He has made such a significant impact on social media that his efforts attracted Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The latter invited Reynolds to the first public test and announcement for their new feature, Audio Rooms.

Audio Rooms puts the Fierce Diva alongside Andrew Bosworth (head of AR/VR and creator of Facebook Newsfeed), Fidji Simo (Director of Facebook App) and content creators StoneMountain64, and QueenEliminator, to discuss and share their insight on fostering meaningful relationships, building brands, expanding merchandise opportunities, and more. Facebook is more than a platform; not only is it becoming a main player in the gaming industry, but it wants to provide a purposeful and long-lasting impact for creators and followers.

Reynolds, specifically, was a testament to the kind of dedication online personalities can have towards achieving their dreams tied to real efforts to give back to the community. He works tirelessly to dispel longstanding preconceptions about gaming and successfully makes a name for himself in the industry. He simultaneously emphasizes the need to define safe spaces online for his viewers, a place where they are free to be themselves and express their opinions without judgment.

One of the more tangible ways he does this is through his efforts as a BetterHelp sponsor–the largest online counseling platform today. As a BetterHelp sponsor, Reynolds can demonstrate his unmatched dedication to his followers and shine a light on the importance of mental health issues, the need to raise awareness on the subject, and provide access to the right resources for help.

“This is something that I have been attempting to put in place for a long time, and I am so proud to announce that we are finally here. Mental health is one of the most important issues that I believe affect our industry—viewers and streamers alike. I want to take the successes we have obtained and use them for good. And to also show the world that video gaming is no longer a means to no end,” he shares.

Times are indeed changing, and Reynolds is one of the key voices in the gaming industry, proving that passion and vision can bring a new wave of positive change in this field.

Author Chanceé Lundy’s Book It’s Just High School Paves the Way for Discussions in Groups and Between Mothers and Daughters

High school is often a difficult time in the lives of many teenagers, especially girls, who endure issues like bullying and shaming. Chanceé Lundy is an author, speaker, and social justice advocate who has watched news of young teenage girls endure issues that lead to tragedy and set out to make a difference. Utilizing her platform as an author, she penned a book titled It’s Just High School, hoping to make a significant impact on the lives of the youth.

Chanceé Lundy is a Selma, Alabama native who knows that she would have walked a path of destruction without women filling the void she experienced in her youth. She believes that there is a thin line between success and failure and the path we choose in life that shapes our outcomes. Chanceé is a firm believer in exposure being utilized as a fundamental tool that can change the trajectory of a young person’s life as it had worked for her. Since then, she has become passionate about creating mechanisms to expose young women to all that life has to offer.

It’s Just High School is an anthology that depicts the real stories of eighteen black women reflecting their high school experience. Each story tells the triumphs they achieved over tragic circumstances, illustrating that nothing is insurmountable. The book and its accompanying journal are tools that tackle the challenges teenage girls face in one of their most critical developments towards young adulthood. It’s Just High School tackles suicidal thoughts, depression, teen pregnancy, peer pressure, sexual violence, and so much more.

“With the advent of social media and the 24-hour cable news, we are now seeing more of what many have experienced for years,” shared Chanceé Lundy, “I believe that sharing our stories can be powerful, and I don’t know of any other collaboration of black women, specifically geared towards high school-aged girls.”

Despite the unique experience that everyone undergoes, the non-action stories in It’s Just High School reveal that while times have changed, many people share the same experience. The book was written to serve as a source of comfort for girls entering or matriculating through their high school journey.

“This book is a dose of reality for girls who may believe that their circumstances must deny the rest of their life,” said the author, “I believe that this book should be in libraries, used by girls’ organizations, reading clubs, and for shared discussion between parents and teens.”

Chanceé Lundy reveals that she was driven to write It’s Just High School after hearing many stories of teenagers attempting or committing suicide, involving themselves in violent altercations, bullying, struggling with self-esteem issues, and succumbing to peer pressure permanently changing their records.

While It’s Just High School was rereleased in 2021, Chanceé Lundy hopes that her book will become more than just a casual read for some as she strives to turn it into a classroom companion akin to  Maya Angelou’s I Know Why the Caged Bird Sing. The author hopes that her work will be used in mentoring and counseling circles.Additionally, Chanceé foresees It’s Just High School’s success will propel other people who want to speak out and share their stories and how they ultimately succeeded. An Interview With Emily Sakamoto, Neuropsychology Graduate Student

Emily Sakamoto is a Neuropsychology graduate student at Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. Although her primary academic focus is neuropsychology, she also studies health psychology. Currently, Emily works as a graduate research assistant producing important research on COVID-19, as well as HIV. Emily will soon be starting her practicum at a private neuropsychological practice, conducting assessments and evaluations. In her private life, she is a passionate kitten and cat foster owner that is heavily involved with local shelters and rescues.

What do you love most about studying neuropsychology?

A lot of that comes down to my research, which I find very mentally stimulating. You assimilate all the information at hand and then use it to come up with something that you didn’t know the answer to before. Plus, I’m working side-by-side with a lot of my classmates and professors. We’re all involved in our respective academic pursuits together and it’s a very open process. Anybody can choose to research anything. It’s pretty much what we make of it.

What would you tell others looking to get into your industry?

I would say definitely be flexible. When I started the program, I thought that I knew what I wanted to do. But the more I was exposed to information and the more people I met, the more I found out what my strengths were and what my weaknesses were, and that helped me figure out what kind of career I want that is sustainable. It’s great to have goals going into your academic career, but don’t try to force something in the beginning. I also think listening to your gut is important. Eventually, you’ll learn what’s right for you, but the best way to make that happen is to remain flexible.

What keeps you motivated?

With school, it’s definitely digging into new research. For a lot of people, the main goal is to add stuff to their CV, but there are so many opportunities outside of that—to present at conferences or submit papers and really get to know people in the neuropsychology community. I’m highly motivated by wanting to meet other people in this field and learn from them and talk with them, and I think that’s really important. What keeps me excited is knowing that I’m going to be making more connections and that I have all these options ahead of me. I want to make sure I do well in my fifth year, which is an internship year and largely regarded as the most important year of graduate school for neuropsychology because it can create so many future opportunities. As for fostering cats, I don’t need any motivation for that. I feel very strange when I don’t have one around me!

Who has been a role model to you and why?

A lot of my classmates in my graduate cohort inspire me. It really is a situation where we’re all in it together. We’re all working for the same thing. Everyone tries to help each other reach their goals, and I’ve found it to be a very influential and rewarding experience in the way that I look at myself.

Also, I look up to every single person at CatRangers, the shelter that I coordinate my cat fostering with. They are so passionate about what they do. They know every single cat on a personal basis. They take in a lot of cats but they’re so careful about where they place them. They really have a true vetting process, and they’re constantly in touch with me to keep me aware of the progress my fosters are making and who might be a good adopter for a cat. They also have a really good relationship with a lot of the animal hospitals in the area. I look up to them because they give their cats really good care, which is evident even in how they keep the place so clean. They care about cats so much.

How do you maintain a work life balance?

I like to FaceTime with people who are close to me if I can’t see them during the week.

I also enjoy taking my cats on stroller walks. I put them in a mesh baby stroller and walk them around and they seem to really enjoy it. It’s a great way to advertise that they’re up for adoption. People ask about the stroller all the time. It really gets peoples’ attention. I’ve even made my cats little business cards that I hand out to people when they ask. Hopefully, it gets the word out that they need a home.

I also listen to podcasts in my spare time and that helps me maintain a balance. It helps bring me out of my head while I’m driving, showering, or prepping meals at home. Some of my favorite podcasts are Youre Wrong About, where the hosts talk about how we should reconsider cultural things that have happened in our history, and then there’s one called Slow Burn, which is a history podcast that goes into American politics. Another is called This is Actually Happening. It explores real life stories about people that seem unbelievable, and it’s really entertaining. I enjoy podcasts that can take me out of the work or school space. Another thing I do that is not work or school-related is work through creating all of the recipes in The Sopranos Cookbook, which is based on the TV show. I love to cook for people. I’m not going to say I’m a food pusher, but I love watching people eat my food. I get recipes from other people that I know, like co-workers and family members, and try to prepare their favorites.

What trends in your industry excite you?

Neuropsychologists can only prescribe in some states. These states are Idaho, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Iowa. They can prescribe in Puerto Rico and Guam, too, however, these are US territories and not states. I believe Psychologists in the US military can prescribe, as well. I know that there has been some pertinent legislation making its way through various states. For example, Florida has a bill that was recently drafted that would allow neuropsychologists to prescribe medication for mental health illnesses or any neuropsychiatric issues, but it is not yet law.

As a neuropsychologist, I would like to understand how medication and treatment work together. Regardless of whether people in my field are able to prescribe or not, that’s something I’m really interested in and I want to learn more about. I hope to learn more about pharmacology in the upcoming years. I’m also really interested in seeing what happens with the legislation regarding prescribing laws in the various states in the next few years. Things seem to be heading in a positive direction.

Outside of work and school, what defines you as a person?

My love of fostering cats is the main thing. I’m fairly well-known for fostering kittens and cats. I initially began because I couldn’t travel to get my own cat because of COVID-19. I started fostering in October of 2020, and I’ve fostered 15 kittens and cats, one after the other, including a mom and her babies.

I pretty much work exclusively with CatRangers in Buford, Georgia. They’re awesome. They’re basically an open house shelter. All their cats are free to roam. The only ones that are kept in crates are ones that might be sick or just came in and need to be quarantined. But I’ve fostered with almost every single shelter in the Atlanta area, and I’ve decided to stick with CatRangers because they’re so awesome. I can be involved in the process the whole time through to adoption. I’ve learned a lot in terms of taking care of sick animals. For example, some of the kittens that I’ve fostered have had eyelid agenesis so their eyelids aren’t fully formed, or they had partial blindness, FIV+ (which is the feline version of HIV), upper respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, kidney issues, obesity, skin infections—I’ve even had cats that were incredibly picky eaters and I couldn’t get them to eat for the longest time. But I love it. It is my biggest passion outside of school. People have referred to me as the neighborhood cat dealer because I have gotten so many kittens and cats adopted. I’m still in touch with most of them. I love that I get to see these cats and kittens, and people often call me over to groom them or watch them. I am really involved in my community outside of work and school in that way.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I’ll most likely be in my internship or my postdoc, probably in a different state. This is a difficult question for me to answer because there are still so many details that are yet to come clear. In terms of fostering cats, I’ll definitely be doing that forever.

Owl & Thistle Is Helping People Better Understand What to Watch for When Someone May Be Struggling

The tragic loss of a loved one to suicide often leaves survivors with the feeling that they should have done more, listened more closely, and been there more often. Owl & Thistle is helping people understand what to watch for and what to do about it.

Reaching Out for More Proactive Suicide Prevention

Crystal Partney is the founder of both Scattering Hope and Owl & Thistle. Scattering Hope provides families with resources for healing following the loss of a loved one to suicide. Owl & Thistle is focused on suicide prevention and encouraging people to reach out to those who may be struggling.

Partney founded both companies following the tragic loss of her late sister Gina. Going through this loss and grief led her to take positive action, hoping to not only guide those who must go through the same tragedy of suicide but also to encourage the friends and family of those suffering from depression to reach out before it’s too late.

Watching for Warning Signs in Your Loved Ones

Owl & Thistle provides those concerned for their loved ones with resources for identifying the warning signs of suicide. It can often be difficult to see when someone is struggling, but many individuals will show these signs that might allow action to be taken before it’s too late.

Extreme mood swings are one such sign, where someone might seem fine one moment and suddenly swerve into intense anger or sadness. These changes could happen over the course of a single day or represent frequent changes in overall mood and disposition.

Hopelessness is a common feeling among those who are struggling. If you notice that your loved ones have developed an excessively negative outlook for the future, this could be a sign of depression.

Isolation and withdrawal from social life can be the result of someone’s depression. This can be difficult to judge and should be gauged against their past social involvement. These individuals can often have disparate sleep schedules as well, having either excessive or too little sleep.

In order to cope with their depression, some turn to alcohol or other drugs. Suddenly starting or intensifying use is a significant warning sign. You might also notice your loved one becoming more anxious, quick to anger, or otherwise agitated.

One of the most significant signs that is overlooked far too often is the person expressing their intention to commit suicide or that they are having suicidal thoughts. In this situation, there is an immediate need to take action.

Extending Help to Those in Need

If you believe that someone you know is at immediate risk of suicide, you should call a suicide prevention lifeline (1-800-273-8255) for advice on taking immediate action. When you call the lifeline, you will be connected to a trained interventionist. When you believe that someone is showing signs of depression, one of the best things you can do is reach out to let them know that you’re there for them.

Discussing such a sensitive matter isn’t something to be sprung on people. Any conversation should be planned in advance, setting aside plenty of time. A great guideline for what to ask comes from Jackie Simmons at the Teen Suicide Prevention Society. These simple questions guide the conversation in a positive direction, helping to foster hope.

Don’t Wait Until It’s Too Late

If you’re concerned about a friend or someone in your family, you can find out more about the signs to watch for and how to deal with this delicate situation at Owl & Thistle.

Riggs Eckelberry, CEO of OriginClear, on a Mission to Solve the Water Crisis in America and Beyond

Riggs Eckelberry, CEO of OriginClear (OTC Pink: OCLN), is on a mission to educate the world on the importance of water. Not talked about as much oil or gold, he believes we need to stop thinking that water is an endless resource and realize how important a staple it is in our lives that we simply cannot be without it. In the past years we have seen flooding in New York, hail in Florida, and floodwater evacuations in Missouri, making it appear as if water is everywhere. But the truth is that America in on the verge of a water crisis brought on by climate change. As the water supply decreases due to higher temperatures, the demand only increases with an uptick in population. This makes the work that Eckelberry and his team at OriginClear are doing essential by helping companies properly and effectively recycle the water they use locally.

Eckelberry, who always had a thirst for new ventures, launched this venture as the CEO of a company that would be commercializing algae for biofuels. That company would eventually become OriginClear, now a Florida-based company with roots in Texas, when Eckelberry and his team discovered that the process for removing algae from water could also be useful for the removal of waste. Now a 14-year-old company, OriginClear has a mission to help businesses seamlessly transition to take over their own individual water treatment initiatives. Their new outsourcing program will feature a line of prefabricated modular systems that allows clients to pay for water by the gallon, rather than paying for the entire machine. This is because Eckelberry has recognized a problem with water infrastructure and the pollution that is only increasing. “…if we came anywhere close to treating 100% of our dirty water, how much cleaner would life and things be? How much less illness would there be? There’s more people that die from bad water than war”, Eckelberry explains. He, alongside the OriginClear team, are dedicated to both providing clean water initiatives and providing people with access that they may not have previously had. That is why they are taking a more individualized approach when it comes to solutions.

Eckelberry makes note that it will take more than one company alone to completely change the industry, but that change must start from somewhere. As the outsourcing program expands, OriginClear plans to offer to other water companies that they start taking over projects. OriginClear expects this will help develop a network of strategic partners throughout the industry. Eckelberry also recognizes the importance of building strong client relationships, which is the quick expansion of their Texas operation makes clear. “You have to move on beyond just designing and building systems. You have to connect with the people you serve”, Eckelberry explains. OriginClear plans on creating and maintaining a continuous relationship with the clients it serves.

Eckelberry goes on: “I believe we need to go into a full managed service relationship with customers. Total Outsourced Water™ has become the slogan of our company because are moving from building these systems to operating them”. One step beyond that, OriginClear’s plan to have clients pay by the gallon could enable the company to build a backbone of long-term customers. With no upfront fees, the model is a subscription-style service similar to software plans. Eckelberry recognizes that this can only work if client relationships are paramount throughout the company, and he insists on a culture of high service to customers, creating years of recurring revenues for the company.

Eckelberry is looking forward to the continued growth and expansion of OriginClear, eventually hoping to bring clean water systems overseas. In the US and internationally, it is clear to him that central water systems will not be able to solve the growing water crisis. But if industries had the capability to treat their own water, then solves the current water situation, because not only would they potentially save money, but the load on the municipalities would be much reduced.

“Our pilot of offering fully outsourced water projects to smaller local businesses is relatively new,” he explains, saying that until now, outsourced water treatment has been reserved to very large projects. By implementing OriginClear’s modular systems on a subscription basis, Eckelberry hopes to build an asset base that could help the company achieve a NASDAQ listing which would further open up capital to build even more outsourced water projects, delivering ever-greater recurring revenues in an upward spiral.

Building on the growth it is already seeing, OriginClear is making waves in the water technology industry and will continue to push the boundaries when it comes to innovative solutions. As Riggs Eckelberry puts it, “OriginClear is Water Company 2.0”.

Leslie T Mitchell on Obtaining That Ideal Work-Life Balance

Insights from The Corporate and Entrepreneurial Worlds

Over the past year, we have all become quite adept at working remotely. It has allowed us to be more flexible about our businesses. So we can spend our free time as we choose. When you are jet-setting off to a remote destination or taking a week off to backpack, having processes in place will simplify things for everyone (including you). You should be an integral part of building your business, but do not build it around you – in other words, try not to make the success depend on your daily presence. It will take you back to where you started: allowing your work to run your life instead of the other way around. Focus on empowering people, just like Leslie T Mitchell. As a world-renowned professional life coach and credit consultant, motivator, corporate trainer, speaker, entrepreneur, and author, she now stands as a beacon of motivation for all the millennials out there. She is one of the very few people who have been able to replace their monthly salary with multiple six-figure income streams. She is a proud mother of two and has been married for twenty years. With her consulting business, Mind Work Solutions, she has helped corporate executives thrive in multilevel marketing.

Keeping Your Priorities Straight

It is common for business owners to build businesses for many reasons. Usually, the core reason is having autonomy over their lives and reaching the point where they can earn their livelihood on their terms. It is crucial to keep this priority in mind so that your business does not run your life. It looks different for every entrepreneur, but having trust in fellow team members can be very critical. Discuss with them the company culture to keep the processes running smoothly. You can keep track of KPIs and any potential snags in the system by defining the daily and weekly check-ins. As a result, you can be a hands-off manager while still maintaining your creative autonomy to work with your business.

The Corporate Journey

During her 18 years with Corporate America, Leslie climbed the corporate ladder. It was during this time that her dream of opening her own business was born. She did not know what lay beyond a 9 to 5 job at that point. Her life was more than just doing monotonous jobs, and she always knew and felt this. For a long time, the flame in her heart remained dim. Unfortunately, when she got displaced from her job, this urge gained momentum. She was on medical leave at that time.

Stepping into the Entrepreneurial World

Leslie could feel the flame that had been dim all those years begin to burn with a ferocity like never before. Finally, she started to follow her dream of owning her own business. Her training and development consulting company MindWork Solutions, LLC, was born from her skill set as an Instructional Designer. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to consult with Verizon Wireless, GE, FP&L, and Owens Corning, to name a few.

That Credit Hiccup

In the process of setting up her consulting business, her finances and credit suffered. She had a credit score of around 780 for most of her adult life, but within three months, it dropped to 564. She and her husband had their dream cars, owned two homes, and lived a comfortable life. So initially, she didn’t think there was anything wrong with it. But when she attempted to use her credit card, she was denied. It was at that time she came to know about this hiccup. Having excellent credit has always been a lesson her father taught her. Her father would often tell her, “You can have zero dollars in the bank, but if you have a credit score of 800, you can get almost anything you want.” But what he didn’t teach her was how to deal with life when it surprises you that badly. Her score rose by over 225 points within six months. It happened when a friend introduced her to a credit repair program that helped her rebuild her credit and regained her buying power. As a result, she started a multilevel marketing business from home, which allowed her to change lives far more broadly.

Fighting Self Doubt

She also started questioning whether she was qualified enough for the job as a consultant, doubting herself. She admits that in the beginning, the challenge was not so much her ability to perform but rather changing her mindset to believe she could succeed. It meant overcoming the fear of failure that she had. She was aware that God had destined her for greatness. She was inspired to persevere through the obstacles and setbacks once she began to see herself as God did.

What Matters

Finally, Leslie says that the business culture you are building reflects your values as a business owner. Here’s a tip: take the first step yourself if you want your employees to have a work-life balance. Maintain clear clock-in and clock-out hours and encourage employees to live a balanced lifestyle.

Founder Brian Murdock on Taking a Proactive Measure in Providing IT Solutions through All World Communications

Communication is the bedrock of society and one of the essential skills required for success, especially when building a business. However, because of the large volume of sensitive information and data shared on the waves these days, many companies have lost sensitive data to hackers. Brian Murdock established All World Communications, the leading solution partner in the technology sector to protect these companies by providing IT and communication services.

All World Communications is a privately owned, customer-oriented technology company established to serve companies and fulfill their communication needs such as IT services and cybersecurity while providing support according to their best interests as opposed to that of the vendors. The technology company’s state-of-the-art technology helps businesses streamline workflow and bring teams together to collaborate more effectively and increase productivity. In addition, All World Communications also provides 24/7 maintenance and monitoring, preventing unauthorized access to computers and servers. “No matter the business, All World Communications has you covered with industry compliant solutions, customized to your company’s specific needs.”

At the helm of the company is founder Brian Murdock, a futuristic technologist. He is committed to finding solutions to simple problems in marginalized communities, such as accessing suitable internet. He is also dedicated to creating paths to sustainable careers in technology, ensuring financial stability and homeownership and narrowing the wealth gap. Brian’s passion for creating and sustaining an impact in black, brown, and other marginalized communities has led All World Communications to initiate the discussion with multiple states and Puerto Rico, Mexico, and parts of Africa to provide both internet solutions and training initiatives.

As an entrepreneur who started at young age mowing lawns of his father’s rental properties, Brian Murdock got an aerial view of the positives and negatives of entrepreneurship as he watched his father build and manage the family business—Murdock & Sons Construction—into one of the largest minority-owned contractors in the Midwest. However, due to circumstances outside of his control, Brian’s father met his untimely demise.

Brian’s goal is to inspire and empower businesses and communities through technology adoption, job creation, and servant leadership. Through his company, he has worked with thousands of clients from small to medium-sized businesses interested in growth and technologies that can help them reach their goals.

“We believe that with the correct information and the right people, an SMB can compete with a large enterprise in service because of the ability to be nimble and deliver service on time,” he states.

A firm believer that small steps make a giant leap, Brian Murdock makes a conscious effort to speak to everyone to identify their pain point and make at least five people smile. Every day, he meets his leadership team to see what the current projects are and what action items to make them successful.

“My KPIs are to make a certain number of physical touches or calls per day to generate interest in the multiple arms of All World Communications, follow up with All World affiliates and what projects they’re working on providing support when needed,” he shared.

In the coming years, Brian Murdock wants to expand the reach of his business and see it become a multi-billion dollar business that provides opportunities for people to change the lives of their entire families. To learn more about Brian, visit his LinkedIn page.
