Your role as New Lenox Township Supervisor speaks volumes about your commitment to your community. What motivated you to take on this role, and what are your key objectives in this position?

My motivation stems from a deep-rooted connection to New Lenox and a desire to give back to the community that has given me so much. As Township Supervisor, my key objectives include keeping taxes to a minimum, ensuring efficient and transparent governance, and fostering community programs that support the well-being of all residents. It’s about making tangible differences in people’s lives and ensuring the community thrives.

Balancing a demanding career with family life can be challenging. How do you manage to maintain this balance, and what role does your family play in your life and career?

Family is my cornerstone, providing both grounding and inspiration. Balancing a demanding career with family life is indeed challenging, but for me, it’s about prioritizing and making the most of the time we have together. Whether it’s enjoying outdoor activities or simply having a meal together, these moments are invaluable. My family’s support and understanding have been pivotal in my career and personal life.

Outside of your professional and civic duties, you have a passion for water skiing, travel, hunting, and the outdoors. How do these hobbies contribute to your overall well-being and perspective on life?

A5: My hobbies are my escape and rejuvenation. Water skiing and hunting offer a sense of adventure and connection to nature, while travel expands my horizons and provides new experiences and perspectives. These activities help me maintain a balanced and fulfilling life, reminding me that while my career and civic duties are important, personal well-being and embracing the world’s beauty are just as vital.
