Nina Naustdal, a name that has graced TV screens in over 37 different countries, has been captivating audiences with her charm and charisma for years. With a love for movies and a burning desire to explore her creative side, Nina’s journey from TV programs to the silver screen is an inspiring tale of ambition and dedication.

Nina’s fascination with acting didn’t emerge overnight. In fact, it was nurtured by her lifelong love for movies. She grew up watching films and always found herself drawn to the world behind the camera. “I have always loved watching movies growing up,” Nina reflects. “It was natural for me to be in front of the camera, whether as a model or doing interviews on TV. But acting was the next step for me to challenge myself in a different way while still staying in front of the camera.”

In her pursuit of creativity and self-expression, Nina discovered that acting was a unique art form. “Acting is very different from being in front of the camera for interviews or modeling,” she explains. “It’s about turning yourself into a different character from a script. You get to challenge yourself, test your strengths and weaknesses, and truly get to know yourself. You have to think in a different way to adapt and fit perfectly into each role. It’s something completely different, and I loved it.”

Nina’s journey in the entertainment industry began with TV programs and lifestyle documentaries that allowed her to connect with a global audience. While these experiences were valuable and rewarding, they differed significantly from her venture into acting.

“Acting compared to TV documentaries and modeling is a completely different thing,” Nina points out. “In TV documentaries and modeling, you might put on a small act to achieve the final vision. But with acting, you have to go much deeper into the vision of someone else and become that character. I have a lot of respect for actors who have done this for a long time because you have to give a lot of yourself.”

Nina’s involvement in various TV programs and documentaries allowed her to reach millions of people in over 37 different countries. While she didn’t necessarily have a specific message to convey, she used these opportunities as a marketing strategy for herself and her business. The exposure and reach she gained were significant, helping her connect with a diverse international audience.

Nina’s acting career has been on the rise, with notable roles in upcoming films. “From the Corner of My Eye” marked her debut as the lead dancer of a cult, showcasing her dance skills honed over the years. The experience of expressing the movements and understanding the cult through choreography was a thrilling challenge.

Her venture into the Bollywood industry with “Ganapath” alongside star Tiger Shroff was another exciting chapter in her acting journey. The futuristic setting and her role in intriguing scenes promise a unique cinematic experience for viewers.

In “The Untold Story of Mr. Hyde,” Nina takes on the role of “Frankie,” the bartender. Working on this film was a delightful experience for her, with a well-chosen cast and a smoothly running set. The film is set to premiere in February 2024 in Leicester Square and will be released on Amazon Prime and other major movie platforms by March of the same year.

For Nina, the journey of acting has brought both challenges and rewards. “The biggest challenge for any actor is to make their role perfect and understand the script the way the writers and producers see it,” she admits. “But that was also a reward for me, as it pushed and challenged me to step out of my comfort zone. Meeting so many amazing people in the acting, producing, and movie industry and witnessing something on paper turn into a movie was truly exciting and inspiring.”

In addition to her television and film career, Nina has been actively involved in supporting various charities internationally. Two of the charities that hold a special place in her heart are the Amy Winehouse Foundation and Caudwell Children. She has organized black-tie fashion shows to raise funds for these organizations and worked closely with individuals like Mitch Winehouse, furthering her commitment to making a positive impact.

Nina’s philanthropic endeavors extend to other charitable causes as well, including the Red Ribbon Foundation, Amfar, Princess Trust, and Great Ormond Street, among others. Her dedication to giving back is evident in the various causes she supports and the difference she strives to make in the world.

Nina’s multicultural experiences have played a pivotal role in shaping her approach to creativity and entrepreneurship. Traveling and conducting business around the world have exposed her to different cultures, people, and landscapes. These experiences have opened up exciting creative opportunities and allowed her to create strong relationships, both personal and professional.

Nina recognizes the importance of cultural understanding in building connections and fostering inspirational friendships and business ventures. She believes that having the same energy and understanding is the first step to discussing new business adventures, and her diverse background has undoubtedly enriched her approach to creativity and entrepreneurship.

Nina’s journey has been studded with accolades, with several holding a special place in her heart. Never be complacent. If you want to be good, do what they say you should. If you want to be great, innovate.”
