Accessory Essentials When in Vegas

When planning a trip to Las Vegas, there is a lot of preparation that comes with it. Vegas is widely known for its top-notch casinos, mega-clubs, and flashy clothing. That means you will need to bring a few things to fit in and make the most of your trip.

No need to get your pen and paper out, because we’ve already prepared a list of essential items you need for your next trip to the city of lights.

In Las Vegas, you can let your outfit do all the talking and simply add an accent piece or two to finish it off. This is your chance to let your personality shine, because anything goes in the city that never sleeps.

When putting your outfits together, be sure to pack some flashy wholesale earrings, choker necklaces, bangle bracelets, rings and ankle jewelry. Don’t be afraid to splurge and bring along as many pieces as you want.

When deciding what jewelry is going to make the cut, make sure you include anything with bright colors and sparkle. Even a classic pair of oversized hoops is always in style. There is no such thing as overdoing it in Las Vegas!

Remember not to bring your most valuable pieces of jewelry with you on this trip. After a few drinks, you don’t want to take the chance of losing a cherished piece.

A Purse, Clutch or Handbag

It may seem obvious, but you will need a handbag or purse with you at all times in Vegas. Be sure to bring a few for the different events you will be attending.

During the day, a mini-backpack works great, to hold your wallet, water bottle and more. For the evenings, you will want one or two different clutches or small purses to choose from. These will keep all of your essentials at arm’s length.

When selecting a handbag or clutch, make sure it has a zipper or secure closing. This way there is less of a chance of your items falling out while dancing the night away, or being stolen while you are not looking. It is also important to keep cash and some form of ID on you at all times.

Many places in Vegas and street vendors are cash-only, which means carrying a purse and keeping its contents safe is even more important here.

Sun and Heat Stroke Protection

The last thing you may be thinking about during an eventful day in Vegas is getting a sunburn. But, Las Vegas can get extremely hot and the last thing you want at the end of the day is dry, red skin.

Be sure to apply sunscreen before you leave your hotel, and reapply regularly throughout the day to prevent sunburn. The days can get long and you may not always get back to your hotel for a break, so bring it with you in your purse to be safe.

Also bring a few pairs of sunglasses, and even a cute sun hat. The desert heat can be brutal, and you do not want to waste any of your trip stuck in your room with sunstroke.

Finally, be sure to bring and carry a water bottle with you to hydrate throughout the day.

Portable Phone Charger and Selfie Stick

When you’re in Las Vegas, you will likely need guidance from your GPS, and you will also be using your phone for taking photos and booking tickets for events online. No matter what the use, your phone battery is likely to drain more quickly than normal.

Whether you are venturing out on your own or sticking with a group of friends, don’t forget to pack a portable phone charger. Your friends will thank you when their phone dies, mid-selfie!

Speaking of selfies, you are going to see some amazing sites in Vegas. A selfie stick will help you capture you – and the sites – in one photo. Choose a selfie stick that folds up or retracts easily, to carry in your bag.

Appropriate Shoes

As much as you want to look cute 24/7 on your trip to Las Vegas, you must also be reasonable in choosing your footwear. If you are setting out for a day of walking and exploring, ditch the wedges or heels and put on some cute and comfortable walking shoes

If you plan to head outside the city for some hiking, be sure to bring some lightweight hiking shoes that keep your feet cool and supported. Always break in your shoes prior to wearing them, as your feet may not be used to the shape and you could develop sore feet and blisters when they are still brand new.

Finally, stilettos and ultra-high platforms are great for posing in pictures, but you will regret wearing them if you plan to bar hop the city’s many clubs and casinos. If you are not used to wearing these kinds of shoes, don’t start wearing them in Vegas. After several hours of dancing and exploring the city at night, you will want to trade your sky-high heels for a cozy pair of slippers – which you should also bring on your Vegas vacation.

Enjoy Your Trip!

Of all the things you need to bring on this much-anticipated trip, the ones listed here are some of the most important ones. Make sure to pack light, yet smart when you’re packing for your trip to Las Vegas – and have fun!
