The project involved extensive protection and containment of the construction area, opening sections of the suspended ceiling, removing existing materials, working within the corridor, and restoring the area with finished ceilings, lighting, walls, flooring, and interior finishes.
It was a dramatically different project from J-TEK’s commercial office renovation for Affinity Investment Group in Exeter. There, the focus was on modernizing an existing professional workspace while maintaining much of its established layout. New flooring and interior finishes helped create a more cohesive environment across private offices, hallways, and shared spaces.
In Manchester, J-TEK’s work at the Palace Theatre showcased another side of the company’s capabilities. The extensive exterior deck renovation went beyond replacing the visible decking. Portions of the existing structure were opened to address the underlying deck construction before the project moved into new decking, stairs, railings, lattice, and exterior finish work. The finished renovation updated the property while complementing its distinctive architectural character.
