ArtTour International Spearheads ARTYA Awards under Viviana Puello
While art is undeniably a huge chunk of society in terms of culture, there is not much art appreciation. However, with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, people now turn to various forms of art to help cope with the situation. In line with this, ArtTour International was established ten years ago to provide an avenue for emerging and fast-rising artists to share their masterpieces.
ArtTour International is a multimedia platform that includes print and digital magazines and an award-winning TV show reaching ten million viewers worldwide! ArtTour International Magazine offers international exposure to artists in all stages of their careers to a global audience to help artists share their message and earn a living doing what they love. Moreover, ArtTour International is the only art magazine supporting art activists addressing social and environmental issues, bringing their art to the eyes of collectors, galleries, museums, and art lovers from different parts of the globe.
One of the most notable events spearheaded by ArtTour International is the Art Activist of the Year Awards or ARTYA Awards. This year’s award ceremony will be happening this December 4, 2020, at 6:00 pm. The past ARTYA Awards nights were held in different host countries, but this year will be different since it will be a virtual event. The art magazine expects the participation of awarded artists and guests who will share their message on environmental conservation and what we can do to live more sustainable lifestyles.
The ARTYA Awards is born from the creative mind of ATIM Editor-in-Chief Viviana Puello, who is a passionate environmental activist. The first ARTYA Award ceremony took place in Florence, Italy, in November 2017. Since then, the tradition has been celebrated each year to honor and celebrate art activists worldwide to share their message, promote their art, spread the news, and bring environmental conservation awareness.
Furthermore, the winners of this year’s annual ARTYA Awards will enjoy a feature article on the ArtTour International’s Fall Issue “ARTISTS FOR A GREEN PLANET.” This special issue is distributed in print at Barnes & Noble stores and in digital format on iTunes, Magzter, and Issuu. This year’s digital issue, which is also interactive and multimedia, showcases a virtual exhibition where readers will enjoy a video presentation with the artworks of all ARTYA Award-winning artists.
ArtTour International Magazine, in tandem with ARTYA Awards, gives free space for artists who are environmental advocates as well. Amid these trying ties, it is crucial to have avenues like this art magazine to help jumpstart advocacy.
In the words of the founder’s opinion on environmental activism through art, “Our planet is the only home where we can survive. We all need to take steps to ensure our next generations have a place to live. There’s no planet B, at least not for now; this is it.”
Viviana believes that these artists can make a difference, especially when backed up with a world-class platform.
The people comprising ArtTour International yearn to inspire others to choose a more sustainable lifestyle, care for the environment, and take responsibility for the planet’s betterment. They hope that people can save mother earth from a catastrophe of a magnitude where there would be no turning back.
