Start it up NYC provides a platform for the most game-changing startups to break through the noise and share how they are shaping our future.
Start it Up ( parent company ) provides web marketing, PR, Branding and development services
What were the biggest challenges you have faced and how did you overcome them?
Revenue generation. We had a low input model but getting to revenue was definitely a mountain to climb. We overcame by collecting relationships and not accounts. That would be a simple way to put it.
What piece of advice do you wish someone had given you at the start of your career?
The best way to sell is not selling.
Who are your biggest influences and people you admire and why?
Steve Jobs. Self-belief is everything.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are?
My late mother, My grandmothers, My aunt, My uncles and my two cousin sisters. They are my only family. I’m grateful to them for their constant support without which I couldn’t have taken this path.
What do you see as your greatest success in life?
Overcoming grief and channeling it towards working hard for my goals.
