Tell us your name and a little about yourself.
My name is Aviva Reimer, Mother of two beautiful girls, both in their late 20’s and two adorable puppies named Sophie and Lucy. My girls also have pets of their own, Zoe and Harley. Needless to say, we are a family of animal lovers!
I was born in Latvia and moved to Canada at a very young age. I lived most of my life in Vancouver, BC, and moved to Toronto, Ontario in 2006. This is where Perfect-fit Lifestyle and Introductions Firm all started.
Since then, my motivation to create positive changes in peoples lives grew and grew each day. Meeting such influential people in this beautiful big city, opened so many doors for my business and in my personal life as well. After training in LA with Patti Stanger herself, I was able to focus directly on Matchmaking and Coaching alongside Personal Training, and take Perfect-fit to the next level. I spend each and everyday helping individuals Become the Total Package, in life and love, and I couldn’t be happier.
What exactly does your company do?
Perfect Fit Elite Lifestyle & Introduction Firm was founded to help extraordinary, dynamic individuals find loving, long-lasting relationships and complete their life picture. Our job is to bring focus and direction to their search and provide them with the means to make that connection.
We provide luxury lifestyle services to those who choose to improve areas of personal health and image before meeting the right partner. We build close relationships with all our clients and get acquainted with them as individuals because we know that it’s the personal touch – not just the data – that make a successful relationship.
What were the biggest challenges you have faced and how did you overcome them? Moving to Toronto has to have been one of the biggest challenges. Not only did everything change for me, but my daughters as well. They were still in high school at the time, and the adjustment of moving away from their Family and Friends took a toll on them emotionally and physically. We, as a family, have overcome some pretty scary obstacles, but we stuck together through it all. Starting a business and being a mother in a new city, alone, was the biggest risk I’ve ever taken.
What easily could have broken us, only made us stronger. And now, after years of hard work, my family and my business have become my greatest successes!
What piece of advice do you wish someone had given you at the start of your career?
To be patient, and trust the process. I have always been a go-get-er, and doing things slowly was never an option for me. I always wanted more, and I always wanted the best of the best. Looking back now, I wish someone would have told me to take it easy, and enjoy the process rather than try and rush through every stepping stone.
Who are your biggest influences and people you admire and why?
OPRAH! Hands down. Her entire career is driven by kindness and positivity. She has spent her entire life-changing peoples’ lives for the better, all while creating a name for herself. She is the definition of a POWER WOMAN and I love her CAN-DO attitude!
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are?
My best friend, Linda Hamori. Not only did I dedicate my book “Becoming the Total Package” to her, but I dedicate most of my life support received to her! We’ve spent 20 years together, living and learning through all of life’s challenges. She’s seen all of my UPS, and all of my DOWNS, and been there with me through it all!
What do you see as your greatest success in life?
Being able to help people, and make life-changing possibilities happen for those who need a hand. It is so rewarding to know you’ve made an impact on someone’s quality of life.
