Grammy-winning artist and Academy Award recipient Jennifer Hudson will have her own talk show this fall 2022. ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’ will grace the daytime of Americans featuring J-Hud, as what she’s called in the entertainment industry, who is not new to the camera for her career in music and movie.
The announcement was made on Wednesday by Warner Brothers, who said that the show would air on Fox television stations.
‘Once you think you’ve seen it all, just keep on living.’
According to Hudson, “I have experienced so much in my life; I’ve seen the highest of the highs, the lowest of the lows, and just about everything in between, but as my mother always told me, ‘Once you think you’ve seen it all, just keep on living.'”
Further, Hudson said that she’s very excited to meet with a lot of people on the talk show. “I have always loved people, and I cannot wait to connect on a deeper level and let audiences see the different sides of who I am, the human being, in return. And I couldn’t be more thrilled to do it alongside this incredible team. We’re about to have a lot of fun and shake things up a little bit!”
“People from around the world have been a part of my journey from the beginning — twenty years ago — and I’m so ready to join their journey as we sit down and talk about the things that inspire and move us all,” Hudson added.
Hudson’s career started when she joined the famed “American Idol” as a contestant. She did not win the competition, but she later found opportunities that would further her career. Hudson was cast as Effie White in the 2006 film “Dream Girls,” where she was awarded the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.
Hudson also released several albums, including her self-titled album in 2008, Jennifer Hudson, I Remember me(2011), JHUD (2014), and RESPECT (2021). The artist is behind hit songs like “Spotlight,” “If This Isn’t Love,” “Where You At,” and her rendition of Tony-winning Broadway musical’s “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going.”
Hudson has since secured a seat as one of the coaches of the international singing competition “The Voice.” She and her co-coaches have helped dreamers become winners.
‘The Hudson Show’ will make its way to people’s screens this fall.
